same error on my machine with parallel build enabled, forced to make -j1 does the trick, updated.

The url should be changed to http://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-1.0.1e.tar.gz as the current one is broken.

Hi, I tried to add enable-static-engine as configure argument, but I still got several libs under lib/engines. grepping it only showed it in some perl script. Can you provide a patch ? xan.

Could you add enable-static-engine to ./config? This will group all the engine libs into libeay32.dll for easier distribution.

@ant32, nice catch. I'd suggest you report it in the arch bugs, since that applies to regular openssl as well. In the meanwhile, I found a patch that fixes that issue.
