What me and xiota told you to fix the source URL uses a variable called build_id, so you have to set this variable and give it the correct value (500 for this release).

Also better to replace build_id with _build_id, as variable name and in the URL.

No one is sabotaging you, don't think xiota wants this package as defective. Simply you're not good at maintaining it and he's giving you help and hints to have the package working properly.

I've unpinned all the messages, because you haven't done after my three requests.

I am not sure what to do, but I do have a job and spent 12 hours on a Sunday doing thing to please one guy, that sends suggestions that don't even work.

@xavierbaez I told to fix the package and don't spam useless messages, as answer you spammed other 5 useless messages, showing you're not skilled to maintain this package, unfortunately, not knowing how to write a PKGBUILD with variables and how to generate the .SRCINFO. please read the wiki page to enhance your skills.

I'll repeat once time, NEVER edit the content of .SRCINFO file. After you fix the PKGBUILD you generate the .SRCINFO file like I wrote in my previous message.

Why do you continue to write useless, wrong and incomplete messages? Are you able to see your own messages? If you forgot to add something click edit and fix your message. Don't write another incomplete message.

You actually wrote more than 15 messages in just a single day. Please stop spamming other users with these useless notifications.

Also I wrote you multiple things including stop spamming with useless comments (which you haven't), this is not a chat. Also I wrote to consider removing pinned useless comments (which you haven't). Also I wrote to remove the conflicting package (which you haven't).

Please fix this package, once again (and remove useless parts like _wabas and replace the version number in the URL with $pkgver (like I wrote you in the first message).

But please once time again, please stop spamming your users with useless comments in the package. Just a single message is enough, multiple comments where you correct yourself are not ok.

Also, remove your incomplete or partial messages and leave only what is really useful, this package history is confusing and unreadable.

Maintainer on first line is spelled incorrectly, and original contributor should be restored.

Remove _wabas. It is an unused variable.

Remove provides and conflicts. They are pointless because all packages provides themselves and motivewave-latest-bin conflicts with this one. Also, motivewave-latest-bin is being removed from AUR.

Remove pkgname_duplicate. For future reference, custom variables should be named starting with an underscore: _pkgname_duplicate.

Change source line (in PKGBUILD) to: source=("${pkgname}-${pkgver}.deb::https://downloads.motivewave.com/builds/${_build_id}/motivewave_${pkgver}_amd64.deb")

@muflone with your suggestion the printsrcinfo was adding {} to the .SRCINFO file So I added a cutom variable

For now everything works Tested build SRCINFO genrated everything

Now please don't allow duplicates like you said you will, both things do the same I can add functions and make it pretty, etc, etc

No reason to duplicate packages here from the other guy

outputs nothing now. Your suggestion was added to PKGBUILD https://downloads.motivewave.com/builds/{$build_id}/motivewave{$pkgver}_amd64.deb

@muflone with your suggestion on the SRCINFO, it works With your suggestion in the PKGBUILD, it works but then the other guy is going to complain either way

Don't feel any pressure, fix the package and later we'll fix the remaining issues with this package, including your tons of meaningless comments in the AUR.

Also NEVER change the .SRCINFO file content, simply fix the PKGBUILD and regenerate it again with makepkg --printsrcinfo > .SRCINFO
