MarsSeed I please check new git push which adds the exact source file from their servers.

Please kindly don't use a volatile redirect link that changes the file it points to.

Instead, please link to the actual versioned release DEB file. The current one is:

https://downloads.motivewave.com/builds/500/motivewave_6.7.10_amd64.deb

Thank you in advance if you do so.

You could have contributed to the package instead of create a package with the exact same files. You just want the package to be in your name. So you created a conflict. Messed up. Surely you will always say things don’t work unless you program them.

The last commit prior to today was over four months ago and fails with checksum error. With every new release, the old checksum will fail.

See commit log.

The file extension changed. Update to ".xz" in PKGBUILD and all is well.

When trying to update from 6.6.12-1 to 6.6.14-1 I get the following error:

bsdtar: Error opening archive: Failed to open 'data.tar.zst' ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). Aborting... -> error making: motivewave

I get the same error message when trying to do a fresh install. Can you please advise?
