This package replaces the previous 'mythtv' AUR package. It has been renamed to comply with Arch's VCS package guidelines.

I hope to update the various mythplugins AUR packages soon

Looks like we have a fix. I've just rebuilt the package successfully incorporating the patch from https://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/13544, and no white box :-) @Taijian: can it be included in the AUR package?

@mark.clegg The workarounds are applied after each mythtv package recompile. On the four mythtv clients (1 archlinux-intel, 3 manjaro-intel&2·amd) the workaround reapplied and still does not work :( Bug report @ https://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/13544 tags this bug as minor with no one assigned Forum @ https://forum.mythtv.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=3505 also talks about the workaround Looks like only users affected are those who keep their systems fully updated

@keepitsimpleengr: The workaround still works for me. I notice that x264 3:0.159.r2991.1771b55-1 came in around the same time. I'm pretty sure that would break myth, requiring a package re-compile/install. If that's the case, and you applied the workaround to one of the pre-installed themes (in /usr/share/mythtv...) then you'll have to re-apply the workaround, as the themes will have been re-installed.

@hamelg: Good find, I think that also means it's not just arch users that are affected, so more likely an upstream issue?
