This package replaces the previous 'mythtv' AUR package. It has been renamed to comply with Arch's VCS package guidelines.

I hope to update the various mythplugins AUR packages soon

@schasj: qt5-webkit is in AUR, and will replace your missing libQt5WebKitWidgets.so.5. Be warned though - it's a big build - expect several hours compilation.

mythbackend has stopped working recently and the journal shows

/usr/bin/mythbackend: error while loading shared libraries: libQt5WebKitWidgets.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Qt5WebKit has been removed from Arch repos recently with no cited replacement. I don't know what needs to change to get mythbackend working again.

After upgrading mesa to 22.3.1, mythfrontend crashes on startup in libEGL_mesa.so/radeon_dri.so. Rolling back to mesa 22.2.3 fixes the issue. I rebuilt it but it still crashes. If I start mythfrontend with the -v gpu option, it doesn't crash. Anyone else affected ?

Per bauner pninstalling libva-vdpau-driver fixed the frontend segfault for me 👍

@hamelg: frontend crashes again, when using --noupnp as a console parameter.

the last trace before the crash is related to upnp. Try launching mythfrontend with --noupnp.

I've just updated my archlinux and mythtv still works fine : no need to recompile. What's this crash ? mythbackend or mythfrontend ? try the option "-v all:debug" to see where it crashes or check the wiki : https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Debugging/Getting_traces
