@gameslayer Yes 1.0.8-2 works now. Thanks.

Hey I made a minor mistake and fixed it with a update on the package.

The recent update of libelectron - 1.0.24 -> 1.0.25 - is not working for me. Somehow the command
netflix
is not recognized. But also libelectron-1.0.24 is not compatible with this netflix 1.0.8 neither. So I resort back to my working configuration libelectron-1.0.24 + netflix-1.0.7.gameslayer commented on 2024-06-04 01:58 (UTC) (edited on 2024-06-04 02:22 (UTC) by gameslayer)
I did do an update to Netflix that disables maximize on startup but I had two friends on Arch Linux xfce4 who tried 1.0.6-1 and had no issues so I don't know what is going on with your systems as even they couldn't reproduce the issue but just to solve the issue I quoted it out

Same for me. It worked again. So the problem was probably between
libelectron
and some thing system-wide…linesma commented on 2024-06-03 17:17 (UTC) (edited on 2024-06-03 17:19 (UTC) by linesma)
With the recent libelectron update and the June 3rd update, everything is working again for me on Plasma 6. I did a clean build of both updates just to make sure.

I'll maybe remove mainWindow.maximize()) if it's causing some people issues on the next update tho I am still unable to reproduce this :)

Nothing in my ~/.local or ~/.cache. Fresh install of Arch Linux with plasma 6 but issue remains unfortunately. Could it be something with a OpenJDK or Python update? Fixed it by editing /opt/Netflix/main.js and comment out mainWindow.maximize()). Only, indeed, when you maximize the window it crashes but not when you make the window bigger with moving the side and bottom edges. Thanks for that workaround @jrd

Maybe try that, I am honestly a bit stumped on whats causing the issue for you right now

Maybe something put in the profile in
~/.local
or~/.cache
linked to netflix or libelectron?« First ‹ Previous 1 2 3 4 5 Next › Last »
