Now i'm back on track :-)

@Menelkir seems i found problem. its my vfio setup broken in 6.* kernel. after remove vfio modules from mkinitcpio.conf, regenerate initram, and adjust xorg.conf(second gpu now visible to nvidia driver). tty console start work normal.

It seems the system is having issues to load the module. You can try loading by hand before Xorg starts (or using some other ways) or add to your initrd (which doesn't hurt but it'll increase your initrd size).

My Arch (Kernel 6.2.1-arch1-1) stops at Reached target Graphical Interface. I can login via tty2.

The package was installed via yay shows no error during install.

Yesterday, the system runs without any Problems. The last thing i did before shutdown was pacman -Syu...

Here is my Xorg.0.log:

@spikespi hard to know without a log, please post a xorg.0.log.

spikespi commented on 2023-02-28 10:08 (UTC)

xorg works as expected, but tty screen show two rows stop updating "runing systemd udev and starting systemd-udev", i can still blind login to xorg desktop works as usual, but switching to different tty alt-ctrl F2 etc, just give two systemd row and stop update. this start happens after 6.* kernel update, tired googling, set default boot kernel parameters and nomodeset etc, with no luck. gpu 650ti. journalctl output give me any difference from 5.15.94 kernel load where tty work normal.

Works for me also (Quadro K3000M) with the patch from @BlackIkeEagle (thanks for the patch). Using it with linux-xanmod 6.2.1 kernel flavor.

For me, it works on 6.2.1 with my good old Quadro K1100M :-). Thanks for the patch @BlackIkeEagle
