Hey, @ScoopNewsworthy, thanks for the package! Could you please remove gconf from the dependencies, though? The binary does not seem to strictly depend on it, and having such a dep makes life of those not using GNOME a bit more painful

Nah, I juts misunderstood the emphasis in your sentence. I thought the emphasis was on it not being a bug in paru. :-)

Thank you for the issue reference, btw.

Well I might be mistaken, but you suggested it should be changed to groups=(), while I was trying to say that that line could be removed altogether. Is there something I'm missing?

Mange commented on 2020-11-15 19:56 (UTC)

Yeah, I figured as such when looking at the error, as previously stated. :)

BachoSeven commented on 2020-11-14 22:06 (UTC)

@Mange, this is an intended behaviour in paru: see issue #39. The mantainer could simply remove that line to fix this

Mange commented on 2020-11-14 21:57 (UTC)

I get this when I try to install this via paru:

error: failed to parse srcinfo for 'obinskit-1.1.4-2': key 'groups' requires a value: Line 8: groups =

Groups is currently defined as groups=(''), which looks wrong to me and so I kind of agree with the error. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PKGBUILD#groups

Should it perhaps be groups=() instead?

Unfortunately even with the updated package which includes BachoSeven's amends still my Anne Pro 2 stops working after a few minutes (on Manjaro), so it's not a proper solution for everyone. Hopefully they resolve the issue in a future version of the software.

Hi, it's me again. I think there is an issue which could be easily fixed in this package: from this reddit thread, I found the solution for a (common) problem with the Anne Pro 2 where the USB connection stopped working after a few (30) minutes: it seems that the issue would be the duplicate line in /etc/udev/rules.d/obinskit-kdb.rules; commenting that out solved the issue without changing the cable, for me and other people on that thread. Is there a reason for the duplicate line or could it be just removed?

Edit: thanks for the quick upgrade

Thanks for this package! I just wanted to report that, as tek_eternal reported, I also get segmentation fault crashes whenever trying to import/export a custom layout or color profile.

To save time: libxkbcommon-x11 library should be installed, otherwise obinskit will not start (crash at start), it can be added to dependency list of PKGBUILD. Thanx.
