@seawright: Thank you for the patches - I have applied them and this package should now build with the current kernel 6.4.

@deathrashergr: Thank you for the note. Looking on the OSS forums it seems this will need an update for 6.0+ kernels: http://ossnext.trueinstruments.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5904

@seawright: In the the forum thread above "Kernel 6.0-> breaks OSS" there are some patches mentioned - if they are available perhaps we can apply directly onto this package until they are accepted upstream?

Note: oss-nonfree has been updated to the latest release (4.2 build 2020): https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/oss-nonfree/

However it doesn't look like the open-source (GPL) package has been updated yet: http://www.4front-tech.com/developer/sources/stable/gpl/ (latest files still oss-v4.2-build2019 from 19-Dec-2019)

If/when it is I can update this PKGBUILD similarly.

@je-vv: As discussed in the previous comments, it needs some patches to build with latest kernels, but unfortunately I haven't had time to get it working with the latest version (4.2 build 2019). oss-nonfree (pre-compiled) should be working though, and maybe also oss-git.
