@Kodehawa

Apparently this is something to do with issues like

It should be now fixed as !debug has been added to the options in PKGBUILD

I get the following error with this package:

This doesn't look like a squashfs image.

Cannot mount AppImage, please check your FUSE setup.
You might still be able to extract the contents of this AppImage
if you run it with the --appimage-extract option.
See https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE
for more information
open dir error: No such file or directory

Building osu-lazer from source works, but I cannot submit scores. What gives?

Other AppImages seem to work too. Downloading the AppImage from the osu! site directly also works.

After latest system updates, osu-lazer launches without audio, and with BASS faulted with error code 3: Driver. Trying to switch the audio output from default to my audio device doesn't fix the issue and produces BASS faulted with error code 46: Busy.

@DavidHusicka thank you for fixing it so fast. I also had to remove the file for paru to work.

Probably unrelated, but might be helpful to some:
I also had an error error 21: Is a directory while updating before, but it was fixed after uninstalling osu, cleaning paru cache, and installing osu again.

Seems like yay and probably some other AUR helpers cannot deal with the latest change. Steps to fix yay are:

rm $HOME/.cache/yay/osu-lazer-bin/lazer.png

And that's it :D

@udionv Thank you for telling us. We would have not noticed since we got the icon cached 😅

The problem is fixed and it should work now.

The lazer.png seems to have changed, the checksum is outdated so it doesn't pass the validity check

@Sandwich you are welcome. We don't need any thanks but we appreciate that you like our work. If you like our package, you can show that by voting for it in the top right corner in the "Package Actions" menu. It's the preferred way since you won't spam the comments. Fortunately, the comments on this package are not so lively but I can imagine that there might get some important suggestions lost if everyone started showing their gratitude. Your gratitude is still welcome tho. Also, if you want to thank someone, you should thank ppy for making this game what it is. We are just mere unofficial package maintainers.

Thanks for maintaining this package so frequently
