Please do not enable flathub in background, I already have flathub as user, I do not want it to be enabled systemd wide.

Hello everybody!

I'm having some problems on pamac 10.4 used on ArchLinux with DDE 20.2. Can you read the report I created here and check the possibility of correction?

Pamac 10.4 causing crash when searching for conflicts between applications in ArchLinux DDE 20.2

https://github.com/linuxdeepin/developer-center/issues/3219

Thank you in advance for your attention

Pamac-aur notification icon is not working with Gnome 42. See https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/pamac/-/issues/1252

@G3r0

It's OK.

The jump was to match Manjaro's release numbers.

From now on AUR will use its own numbering.

Nothing to cause a scandal, it's not a big problem and does not involve a bug...

Best regards

@Cromer: Your info is incorrect. libpamac was released in last november, see: https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/libpamac/-/commits/master/

pkgrel jumped from 0 to 4, which is also incorrect. I assume that this is the manjaro versioning, as they probably had multiple new releases. Here it should be 1.

@G3ro

A new version of libpamac was released(11.2). This package is linked against libpamac, obviously the pkgrel was forced to be bumped to rebuild it with the new library.

The maintainer did everything correctly.

I don't want to be the killjoy here, but I think we should discuss some things:

  1. The release number (pkgrel) should only be increased by one with each release, as it is an internal Arch number and should probably not be a Manjaro number or something similar. See: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD#pkgrel

  2. Actually there was no new upstream release yet, so a new downstream release here might be wrong, the -git package can cover that instead. See: https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/pamac/-/releases
