ArchLinux Pi-hole is not officially supported by Pi-hole project. In case of bugs and malfunctions please DO NOT file a report upstream.

First of all check if the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pi-hole) can help then ask here for assistance and tips.
When it will be excluded that the problem does not depend on ArchLinux we will file a bug upstream.

then filesystem is ok. gravity.db read only is nginx and/or php related. please double check the pihole wiki and php wiki.
do you have added any directory restrictions in your nginx conf files? is php.ini ok?

Tried reinstalloing pi-hole-ftl. Installation throws warning as warning: directory permissions differ on /etc/pihole/
filesystem: 775 package: 755

and issue still exists. I tried with incognito browser too.

@Prakkie never seen in years... i think you have installed FTL for last, after server pkg. /etc/pihole dir permissions are wrong. updated w/o release bump. Please try to reinstall FTL.

I tried adding a domain to whitelist and it popped up an error saying "Error, something went wrong! While executing: attempt to write a readonly database"

I checked user groups. http user is part of pihole group too.
