In a clean-chroot the compilation passed without any problem.
On one computer I didn't have to build it in a clean-chroot, but on my laptop I get an error if I don't.

I'll try to compile on clean installation and see if some dependencies are not contained in the PKGBUILD.

I can build the package.
This is weird, you should have the python keyword "file":
http://docs.python.org/2/library/functions.html#file
I suppose is a problem related to your python2 installation.

cannot build with current setup. Error is:
def read(self, infile):
if not isinstance(infile, file):
^
sphinxbase.pyx:537:38: undeclared name not builtin: file

Updated to .8 version.
marcs commented on 2013-01-02 02:08 (UTC)
Updated to the .8 version and checked with namcap.
I've added the dependency to sphinxbase >= .8 too for consistency, if there's a missing dependence is normal 'cause sphinxbase is still at version .7

removed. It seemed upstream updated the 0.7 source file silently

The cythonfix seems to have been applied to the actual source. Please update your package PKGBUILD.
