@UbiquitousPhoton thanks for the heads up! I updated the package.

Good news everyone! There is a new release, which fixes the (long running) issues with the linux versions :)

Now, is there anyone left around to bump this package or am I gonna have to figure out how to do it?

Another option might be to use the tray tool

I contacted support today. Was told they will not enable support for linux until v2.0 (where we will get native support afaik). Until then I was told they had made the above util, that will later be available on the download page.

I found a way out. This application also works well through the web interface. To make it even more convenient, I used WebCatalog.appimage

The application does not start, how can I fix it? That's what the console gives you: $ pomodoneapp

(pomodoneapp:12758): Pango-ERROR **: 19:26:23.497: Harfbuzz version too old (1.4.2)

It's weird, because the system is installed: Harfbuzz 2.6.4-2 harfbuzz-icu 2.6.4-2 lib32-harfbuzz 2.6.4-2

The issue is caused by The pomodoneapp using and old version of electron. The app must be updated

@twiggers I reached out to them and asked for help and clarification on whether they plan to support this package. Will update when/if I hear back...
