@marchersimon: Upstream has not updated their repo for anything newer that 1.6.0. Use proton-mail-bin.

PSA: This package is now called proton-mail building from source. Please install that instead or if you prefer, the binary version is now available as proton-mail-bin.

@XxTriviumxX: It is the official Proton Mail desktop application. It's similar to a PWA (wrapped using Electron) to provide desktop features like shortcuts, notifications and more.

@alphazo: It's actually 1.0.1. Check the control file in the control.tar.xz.

I updated to the latest published version. It's weird that there is no version number in the filename of the .deb package. That being said the application displays "5.0.104.0" at the bottom. Should this be part of the AUR package version number?

PS: Now that I switched back and forth between beta and regular using the built-in switch, the version number shows "5.0.37.9" for the regular version. When clicking on it then it shows a release page up to... 5.0.36 only.
