Updated using -D CMAKE_POLICY_VERSION_MINIMUM=3.5

I also created https://github.com/recastnavigation/recastnavigation/issues/771 to alert upstrream to the issue.

Confirmed, will look into it.

Modifying the pkgbuild and adding the cmake flag -D CMAKE_POLICY_VERSION_MINIMUM=3.5 also works and doesn't require the source files.

This package won't build with CMake 4 as it is:

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:1 (cmake_minimum_required): Compatibility with CMake < 3.5 has been removed from CMake.

Manually patching CMakeLists with the following line seemed to work. Previous value was 3.1:

cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 3.5)

Thank you for the support!

Using an epoch was necessary to ensure updating works as intended.

Lone_Wolf commented on 2025-03-17 22:55 (UTC)

It's actually the same version.

It looks like git increased the length of the short commit hash from 7 chars to 8.

I'll check later this week if this requires adding an epoch to allow smooth updates.

The pkgver seems to be wrong, i get a version of "1.6.0.r832.c393777d" when building this package not "1.6.0.r832.c393777"

Thanks for the report, I've added it in the PKGBUILD.

Not sure what the etiquette is, but adding aarch64 to the arch works without any other modifications.
