Reminders:

  1. If your wifi adapter is in CD-ROM mode, you need to use the command usb_modeswitch or eject to switch it to "Wifi Mode" first.

  2. Before installing this package, make sure your system has the corresponding kernel headers and the package base-devel installed.

  3. You have to manually blacklist or remove any conflicting drivers installed except the in-kernel rtw88 driver.

What is the difference between this package and rtlwifi_new-rtw88-dkms-git? Do we need both?

The package doesn't build for me...

Извлечение из origin -> Найден dkms.conf ==> Проверка файлов source с использованием sha256sums... rtlwifi_new ... Пропущено dkms.conf ... СБОЙ ==> ОШИБКА: Исходные файлы не прошли проверку целостности!

I have been getting errors since the deletion of the "extended" branch; this package is no longer working for me, and I have to manually clone the repo to get WiFi. My WiFi card is RTL8723DE.

Here are some of the odd errors (clean built twice, kernel 5.7.2):

No wifi at all using the r328.6dcff1c-2 package, even after the dkms.conf update. Reverting to r293.05f5504-1 version, works flawlessly. (RTL8822BE)

Thank you so much for this ! After kernel 5.4, that's the only way i can get functional wifi on my machine. (RTL8822BE) Deeply appreciate it.
