increased build time [because build is now run multiple times]

Nonsense, build is only run once. That is how split packages work. If you use an AUR helper then broken AUR helpers may run builds multiple times. Not anyone else's problem.

That's an aurweb bug and has nothing to do with the packaging. But this shouldn't be conflicting with anything anyway, it's other packages' job to conflict with this (canonical) one. provides should also be removed.

If you don't want to watch a cripple type you can just take my word for it @xiota is railing against nothing:

Never was true to my knowledge and certainly isn't as of 0.0.19-2.

I apologize for signing the package myself, but Bastien Roucariès, the maintainer, has not done so with a key that will remain valid past the 11th of June. I've emailed with some alarm about this. If he reissues his key I will reissue the package.

What is «a fd»? Can you try «pacman -Ql»?

Note that it is now a metapackage so you can choose which ones you want.
