new version is out: 3.7.9710 I updated the PKGBUILD and did some minor changes like deleting the /etc/apt/ folder and switching to lucid rather than karmic new PKGBUILD is here: http://pastebin.com/sGqj3CM4

Looks like 3.7 is a correct version now - at least I have VERSION:3.7.9700 on the tom of the main window after installing latest build.

I do track them there, but the new ones up until now have been beta and the files not available. I'm not obsessive, however, and only check every few days. If anyone wants to be more on top of it I'm happy to give this up; I just did because the last maintainer was giving it up. I'll fix the dependency syntax.

You can track stable/beta versions for spideraok here: https://spideroak.com/release_notes Also, please replace 'qt if you want to run the GUI' with 'qt: if you want to run the GUI' - colon should be placed between optdep package name and its description.
