Before marking the package out of date, please first check that the new version is not a pre-release. I'm tracking releases, not pre-releases.

@Mthw, do you use any electron special config, like --ozone-platform-hint=auto? If so, which? Just to avoid trying things which might actually make things worse, :) Thanks a lot !

@Musikolo

Thanks so much for your assistance here!. Indeed icu69 was needed (also unsure of the reason v73 was not good used).

After that I needed to update nodejs as well since I had an old version 10.24 instead of >= 12 required.

Now everything is up and running... just looking for a colleague to tests the call capabilities since the test call feature seem to have been removed by MS

Thanks again, you are a good human!

@Exanime, icu is required by electron which in turn is required by teams-for-linux. In my case, I'm good with the default icu library with version 73:

$ pacman -Ql icu | grep libicui18n.so
icu /usr/lib/libicui18n.so
icu /usr/lib/libicui18n.so.73
icu /usr/lib/libicui18n.so.73.2

For some reason, in your cause, it seems you need icu69 which is available at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/icu69 and https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/icu69-bin as an AUR package.

I hope it helps.

Regards.

EDIT: You should also check if you're using the latest electron package which currently it is electron25. This might address the issue and remove the dependency on icu69 altogether.

Using GarudaLinux, I am getting this error when trying to makepkg

node: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.69: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have googled around and none of the solutions I have seen apply or work for me. It seems I would have to move from plasma-framework to plasma-framework5 as a next step, but it seem too big a change to try without getting some confirmation

It seems just fine here on 1.3.13-1 ? XFCE here...

@Cbhihe, @ogghi, same here.

@Cbhihe Same issue here, no link handling. To circumvent this: I actually send the invitation link to "my own" chat with myself, clicking it from there works fine and opens the meeting in Teams!

Thanks @Mthw !
