Hi. The linux-sig-229.240513.0.bin package fails validation.

The correct sha512sum should be

0f52a488caf616af5c488a3138190a90a5bb78c1a8ac6f08a69420574944419e39c8767bb15cd83f639397ecd7a8764e7ffb1fcf10ffd14e98cb7bca2cfbcbb8

Thanks for maintaining the package.

@FloatingUpstream: The AppImage on GitHub is identical to the one on tuta.com. The signature is verified in the prepare() function of the PKGBUILD.

FloatingUpstream commented on 2024-04-28 12:31 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the quick fix. Correct me if I am wrong: The appimages on github should work just fine. But Tuta does not publish the signature files along them?

yochananmarqos commented on 2024-04-27 21:34 (UTC)

@FloatingUpstream: That means there's an updated version. Feel free to flag the package out of date when that happens.

FYI, Normally Tuta updates the AppImage at the same time as the desktop version, but not always.

FloatingUpstream commented on 2024-04-27 21:26 (UTC)

Ok, the signatures for the appimage and installer sig file seem to have broken again. see https://github.com/tutao/tutanota/issues/6898

Would it make sense to pull the AppImage not from an unversioned Url, but rather from the Github release? e.g. https://github.com/tutao/tutanota/releases/download/tutanota-desktop-release-225.240417.0/tutanota-desktop-linux.AppImage

The problem is, that I don't think versioned installer signatures are published at the moment?

@yochananmarqos: Thanks for the update with the fixed hashes :).

@error0296 I too cannot duplicate. I would recommend cleaning the cache of whatever aur helper you use, and trying again.

@error0296: Can't reproduce, nothing has changed.
