I get 'HTTP Status 404' when opening the webinterface.

Systemctl tells me that unifi has started and gives me the following error:

Exception in thread "launcher" java.lang.NullPointerException: Web context failed to initialize

Does somebody know the solution for this? I am using mongodb50-bin.

Downgrading to mongodb50-bin fixed this for me. Mongo 6.0 removed OP_QUERY which unifi still uses.

For anyone else that encounters core-dump illegal instruction on mongodb using 5.x.You can also use 4.4.

For me, this was because I am using an older CPU which apparently is not supported on the newer mongodb versions.

depends should list mongodb<6 as @jyny pointed out. I was starting to lose my mind as well.

mongoDB doing a breaking change in 6.x, causing unifi start error. To fix this, restrict mongoDB version at 5.x by installing mongodb50-bin from AUR.

Anyone else getting 404s trying to access the login page? Wonder if I broke something or the package broke.

@azmeuk I see a very clear message, what mongodb version are you using?

azmeuk commented on 2022-05-28 10:29 (UTC) (edited on 2022-05-28 10:30 (UTC) by azmeuk)

The web interface is frozen with the message: Database migration in progress..., /var/log/unifi/mongod.log have error messages:

We don't remove required dependencies. Just use another package which provides mongodb instead.
