gobject-introspection and gnome-common should be added as a dependencies therwise the build will fail.

This package downloads an older version of unity (2019.4.0f1), the new version is 2019.4.1f1

is it safe ?

At least with latest Gnome the locally installed Unity installation (not UnityHub itself) wasn't showing up in the Activities. My guess is, a comprehensive integration with icons is not really possible as UnityHub just installs the files in the user directory which is (somewhat) impossible to catch by the desktop engine.

I was about to say that maybe it's a better idea to use unityhub for this instead of polluting the AUR with older versions.
What kind of desktop integration are you missing with UnityHub?

Seems Announcement-Forum and Website differ: here is the LTS channel for 2018:
https://unity3d.com/unity/qa/lts-releases?version=2018.4
But in another post somebody from Unity said official builds for Linux will only be supported through UnityHub - actually I checked and this worked fine (with your PKGBUILD) - except there is no desktop integration.

@retrakker you're welcome :)
Interesting, I didn't notice there's a 2018LTS because it's not marked as lts in the releases.json file. I'll try to find some time to set up these new packages.
What about unity-editor-2017 and leave the others as they are (most recent versions of every "branch")?

Thanks @spacepluk for taking care of this LTS package. It turns out that Unity keeps both 2017 and 2018 LTS alive. Would it be possible to split this into a unity-editor-2017-lts and a unity-editor-2018-lts ?
