The trouble starts after you exit the application. When you run upwork afterwards, it'll start in a screen where the only option is to upgrade, and when you do, it restarts to the same screen. It would be nice if Upwork provides an option to disable this "feature".

Now, upwork shows me a notification about the upgrade, but I can continue to work. The client is not blocked. The latest stable version:

@lybin, the application wants to update to version 4.0.113.0 but this version is currently only in the Beta channel. I think we should follow the version that the application tries to update to, even if that version is not in the Standard channel yet. If you add me as a co-maintainer, I can help out with the updates.

And by "new update today", I mean Upwork updated the client software. They're up to 4.0.109.0 now.
