@dreieck This package is useless to anyone who does not have an internet connection. I am not going to bother attempting to satisfy factitious requirements.

Ahoj,

this package downloads stuff in build():

==> Starting build()...
Downloading and installing node v18.20.6...
Downloading https://nodejs.org/dist/v18.20.6/node-v18.20.6-linux-x64.tar.xz...
[...]
> Fetching base Node.js binaries to PKG_CACHE_PATH
  fetched-v18.5.0-linux-x64           [====================] 100%

Can you move that into prepare()?

In the Node.js package guidelines it is also laied out to do nvm install <version> in prepare():

prepare() {
    _ensure_local_nvm
    nvm install 14.15.0
}

And on the Arch Linux forum the general stance that build() and package() should be able to run in an offline environment was also confirmed:

But in any case, yes, build() and package() should be able to run with no network access (anything requiring network access should be either pushed into the source array, or if necessary handled in the prepare() function) […].

Anyway,
regards and thanks for this package!

@d1t2 Are you using a modified makepkg.conf? Nothing related to llvm shows up in a fresh build.

readelf -a /usr/bin/filepicker | grep NEEDED
readelf -a /usr/bin/vdhcoapp | grep NEEDED

Someone reported the same error yesterday. I was unable to replicate the error using different build methods. I would need more information about your build environment to figure out the cause.

You can try building in a clean chroot.

Missing a dependency llvm16-libs and still got some error:

:: Processing package changes...
(1/1) reinstalling vdhcoapp-git
vdhcoapp: system install
Pkg: Error reading from file.

After update of the firefox extension to version 8.1.4.0, the ↗ update notes say:

To make the most of these new features, an update to the companion app (version 2.0.10) is required.

So maybe now it is time to move to version 2.0.11 (or anything newer)?

Regards!
