@Covkie git is not part of base-devel.

@ginnokami its my understanding that you're expected to have base-devel installed when using the aur so git as a dep is redundant.

Could you please add git as a make dependency, as the current pkgbuild will not build in a chroot environment without it.

@maintuner If the icon you see for Vesktop is a "VC" on a rainbow background, that is correct.

Fix the icons, once again the icon is wrong, vesktop and vencord are two different things.

@zt64 All vesktop/vencord packages should provides/conflicts with vesktop (except vesktop because packages already provides themselves). They typically don't need to individually conflicts with specific variants.

pkgver should be put back to #.r#.g# format.

(git version) should be removed from pkgdesc because it is redundant with package name.

would epoch=1 not be needed as the version scheme changed completely?
