NOTE: If you are building in a chroot, make sure package systemd-sysvcompat
is installed on your system, as this is required for nvm
. This cannot be included in the dependencies, since it will break on non-systemd distributions.

The build issues should be fixed now. I've managed to build the package on a few test machines. You might have to clean your AUR helper (yay, paru, ...) in order to make sure the build succeeds. The conflicts and provides have been updated too, when you try to install "vscodium", you are now prompted for all 3 versions.

Please add vscodium
to conflicts
and provides
. When trying to install VSCodium, vscodium-git
is not in the list of options:
:: Resolving dependencies...
:: There are 2 providers available for vscodium:
:: Repository AUR:
1) vscodium 2) vscodium-bin

Can you please add vscode to provides array? See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Talk:Visual_Studio_Code#Provides_array_for_flavor_packages

@cedricroijakkers, thanks for your work. But you really should not update the package every commit. This is extra work and makes noise in history of a package. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/VCS_package_guidelines#Guidelines

This package is now the git build of the very latest commit on the VSCodium branch. If you wish to use the latest released version, switch to the
vscodium
package.
