@vesath, I'm so sorry, I wasn't checking the address I have linked to my AUR account. Thank you for your suggestions, I have merged your changes.

This new update you pushed shows you are not building packages in a clean chroot; otherwise you would have detected that openjpeg2 is a required dependency. You could also had a correct PKGBUILD by using the one I provided you with... If you persist in not replying to my comments, I will have no choice but to consider you inactive and orphan this package.

Please reply to my request. I see no good reason for this package to not be kept as close as possible to our official webkit2gtk package. If you are unwilling to merge my proposed changes, please explain why. Latest version: http://arch.vesath.org/all/webkit2gtk-unstable-2.23.90-1.src.tar.gz

I also suggest keeping this PKGBUILD as close as possible to our official package in [extra] which follows the stable branch. This brings immediate benefits such as checking digital signatures for the source tarball.

Please consider merging this improved version which implements all the above: http://arch.vesath.org/all/webkit2gtk-unstable-2.23.3-1.src.tar.gz

For reference, here are the commits removing our names:

It appears my name and Eric's have been removed from the PKGBUILD as contributors. Please add them back. Not giving full credit where credit is due is a serious matter.

You're welcome to adopt this package!

GCC crashes building 2.17.1 version ("internal compiler error"), Clang seems to be fine.
