@Cleatus Thanks for making me aware of this. I have now pushed a fix for this package. It now forces the Windows version to be on Windows 8.

@D3SOX I was not running with that Prefix. Using that fixed the issue! Thanks for the quick response.

@Cleatus Did you run winecfg inside the correct prefix? Use WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.winscp winecfg
Cleatus commented on 2023-05-28 19:42 (UTC)
First time installing this, but I can't view any files or directories once connected to a server. If I switch to the "Explorer" User Interface under 'Preferences > Environment, I can see the Tree on the left hand side, but no files are visible on the right. Apparently they are there, just not visible. Clicking around the middle of the right hand box, you can eventually get a name to be highlighted or you can right click and view the properties.
Found this bug report... https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54460
I have changed the Windows version in winecfg as mentioned in that link. Also tried changing Fonts and colors, but seems to have no affect. Anyone else noticing this issue?
wine --version wine-8.6
winscp 6.1-1

I am the new maintainer and I'll do my best to keep the package up to date. I use the program myself.

Latest version now is WinSCP-5.17.7-Portable.zip
with checksum 12cec46f669ff20956fc7c9637fee920e3c43fb5be4918bd146361677202e69e
Since the checksum is conviniently listed on the download page, checking for updates for this package to flag to the maintiner could be automated easily.
