@Cobinja: Thank you for the new release of my favourite theme. :) I've upgraded in AUR. (I saw your git commit, so I think there is no need to report that my bug is still here. Anyway, I use a compositor [compton] by default. The bug remains whether I turn it off or not. Btw my screenshot tells me that somehow csd doesn't work well on my machine at all with your theme (I suspect a good old GTK issue), there are more bugs than just those three missing buttons.)

I just pushed version 2.1.3, which fixes a bug with client side decorations without compositor

Yes, those files are there. (I don't know what causes this problem. My other GTK-related problems were caused by unofficial freetype2 package [infinality patch applied], which are fixed now.) If nobody can reproduce this, I consider this as a mysterious bug on my system. (Gnome-calculator has the same issue. That program uses client-side decoration, too.)

@ngaba: Could you take a look into /usr/share/themes/CobiBird/gtk-3.22/assets/ and tell me if the following files are there: close-focus-none.svg close-focus-normal.svg close-focus.svg close-pressed.svg maximize-focus-none.svg maximize-focus-normal.svg maximize-focus.svg maximize-pressed.svg minimize-focus-none.svg minimize-focus-normal.svg minimize-focus.svg minimize-pressed.svg If not, please rebuild and reinstall the theme Those are the image files for the window buttons on client side decorated windows like Evince.

Yep, the gtk-key-bindings stuff was caused by gtk.css in $HOME. Thanks. I removed that file, but the problem still exists. The (outdated) Greybird and theme works fine with Evince. IIRC Evince worked fine with Cobibird v2.1 earlier, but now that version doesn't work neither. I think one of the recent GTK-related package upgrade broke something. But I am not sure. (Audacious doesn't even start atm.) I managed to get new warnings (I get these when I switch to Cobibird theme, when Evince is running): (evince:3834): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk-widgets.css:42:34: The style property GtkCheckButton:indicator-size is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore. It will be removed in a future version (evince:3834): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk-widgets.css:52:44: The style property GtkMenuItem:horizontal-padding is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore. @ngaba: I can't reproduce that. Neither the gtk-key-bindings nor the invisible window buttons. Fun fact: The theme doesn't even use "gtk-key-bindings". Could it be that have a gtk.css in your $HOME/.config/gtk-3.0/ folder? I had one of those to disable F10 in the terminal, which interfered with midnight commander.

Thx. Unfortunately, I have a new bugreport to not let you rest. :) (I also use XFCE.) In Evince (native GTK3 app, without window manager decoration) the close/expand/minimize buttons disappeared from the upper-right corner (they work, but they are invisible). I think no screenshot is needed, you would see there what I said. When I start evince, I get the following warning message: (evince:8544): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk.css:6:16: The 'gtk-key-bindings' property has been renamed to '-gtk-key-bindings' Great.

@Cobinja Is there anyway to hide the grey background that can be found on the stubborn xfce-panel-plugins for a transparent panel?
