Why isn't the emerald theme integrated? It is in xfce-theme-greybird-git https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xfce-theme-greybird-git/
I think it's missing in the PKGBUILD, the xfce-theme-greybird-git PKGBUILD says:
# install emerald theme
install -d -m 755 "$pkgdir"/usr/share/emerald/themes/Greybird
tar zxf Greybird.emerald -C "$pkgdir"/usr/share/emerald/themes/Greybird/

I think that's a good idea.
Not only did they drop support, but the rolling release nature of Arch Linux will not allow it, either.
I will update this and drop the classic theme. Sorry for those who have come to like the classic theme.

I think you should remove the classic theme since it doesn't work on gnome and has no support.

@ngaba, @flan_suse:
Thanks!
with patched gtk-engine-unico and adding:
GtkLabel, GtkLabel:active, GtkLabel:insensitive { background-color: transparent; }
to /usr/share/themes/Greybird Classic/gtk-3.0/gtk-widgets.css
everything seems work fine (as far as I can remember how it was before ;) )

@kionez: Fortunately, this is an Unico bug, not Greybird Classic.
For a fix, try supersnail's patch:

@kionez
I just updated to gtk3 version 3.6.x on my Arch Linux machine (among other recent updates), and I feel that I might have to drop the Greybird Classic theme in this package. Not only is it no longer being maintained (in favor of the current vanilla theme), but it is slowly rotting away with each new major update to gtk3.
I preferred the classic theme myself (and it was the reason I was drawn to Greybird in the first place), but for practical reasons, I either must use the current Greybird theme or another Xfce theme. I'll likely just drop Greybird Classic in the next update of this PKGBUILD. This will also mean that the gtk-engine-unico package will no longer be required as an optdepends.
