Can you be more specific? It has not been updated because it just works (for me at least). Probably you can do without the '25-xlogin.sh' file nowadays, but other than that, I see no reason why it would not work.

This package has years to updated and seems that doesn't work and caused problems to desktop enviroment. The problems are: 1. Desktop environment freezes and only cursor can move after press of any media key. 2. After that cannot login to that desktop using a desktop manager with "connection refused" error.
