I did a fresh install and neither the old executable (youtube-music-bin
) and what appears to be the new executable? (youtube-music
) seem to be present. Seems like a bug in the PKGBUILD?
A temporary fix to create a youtube-music
executable is:
sudo ln -sf /opt/YouTube\ Music/youtube-music /usr/bin/youtube-music

I installed it but I'm not sure how to launch it, any help would be appreciated

Decided to try out Youtube Music for a while after years of spotify. I just found this in pamac on a whim, but it has literally everything I could ever want, without even requiring modifications. One feature I particularly like is the discord integration! I was reading up on how to do that and found some specialized tool, but this project already has it! Keep up the good work, th-ch and thanks for maintaining hb20032003(unless you are the same person,in which case you should be doubly thanked!)
There is some oddity with it being an appimage(wasn't able to move it, but could copy), but I think that is likely due to my distro(Garuda Linux) having an appimage installer.

Please do not flag this out of date for pre-releases. The developer will normally mark them as the official release soon after if there are no issues.
