@dpvpro I have checked with Qs, nothing. I have moved to the official zed install script with auto updates (rsync is needed). Thank you all for your help and patience!

Maybe you have mess with zed packages...

What packages do you have localy which contains "zed" word?

Check it by yay -Qs zed and remove all zed packages except "zed-preview-bin".

I don't know what went wrong, but I tried everything. Update with yay and clean yay cache. Update pacman and clean pacman cache. Nothing worked.

@XcroatoanX the new versions (and specifically 0.146.1) are installing/updating Zed just fine for me. Have you tried reinstalling the package after cleaning the package cache first?

Hi! I want to report, that the packages which you provide, don't update Zed at all. Right now I am on version 0.146.1-1 and Zed itself is still on version 146.0. It happened also when I was on version 144, it didn't update the app, while in AUR it was already a higher version. Can anyone check if he has the same issue? The only working method to update, is to run the curl command on the official website.

I troubleshooted this issue before, zed uses the org.freedesktop.portal.FileChooser dbus API, which some desktop environments like Hyprland don't implement

@Gohryt @dpvpro sorry, I can't troubleshoot these issues right now, as I'm on vacation and don't have my linux machine with me. Did these issues arise in the most recent version (0.143.2) or were they there before? If you have the time, could you try to find the culprit by running RUST_LOG=debug /usr/lib/zed/zed-editor?
