Unable to update if the GitHub doesn't have the release. Please check the releases page on GitHub instead of the change log on the zen website before flagging the package. Thank you

I did not flag the package, but I do see that, yeah. Weird.

New update, very important one as it removes an incredibly annoying scroll bug upon closing a tab. Please update!

Zen browser is available from aarch64 so can the support be added for it to that PKGBUILD?

Also cg505 sorry I haven't replied. I may look into that, it seems interesting.

Please note that .t versions from the github are twilight builds, not beta builds. Those are available via zen-twilight-bin

Any interest in adopting some of the vendor customization included in the package() from firefox package? https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/firefox/-/blob/main/PKGBUILD

In particular, the search provider configuration is pretty cool and would be nice to have OOTB.

@brockstar I'd try doing a clean build. If you have further issues reach out to me on Discord

I had installed zen-broser-avx2-bin and when I try to install this package it says this. I have done an update of repositories and so on before trying to install

AUR Explicit (1): zen-browser-bin-1.0.2.b.5-1
:: (0/1) Failed to download PKGBUILD: zen-browser-bin
 -> error fetching zen-browser-bin: You are not currently on a branch.
Please specify which branch you want to rebase against.
See git-pull(1) for details.

    git pull <remote> <branch>
    context: exit status 1

As of Beta build 1.0.2-b.4, zen no longer provides an avx2 optimized build. If you are using this package (zen-browser-bin), there is nothing you need to do, but if you are using zen-browser-avx2-bin, then it is recommended you install this package, and select yes when asked if you'd like to remove the conflicting avx2 package. A merge request has also been put in for the avx2 package.

More information from the Zen developers can be found here: https://github.com/zen-browser/desktop/wiki/Why-have-optimized-builds-been-removed%3F
