@manouchk I cannot reproduce your error.

With the current .desktop file, when running: xdg-open zotero://select/library/items/43A2CNWN I get: /usr/bin/xdg-open: ligne 881: x-www-browser : commande introuvable (command not found)

@juanmah It was not a filesystem bug, because I installed the latest version manually using makepkg and it works fine. It most likely was a paru problem with its cache, because I rm -r.cache/paru and reinstalled zotero and everything worked again. There must be some leftover files in the cache that messed up the installation. Sorry for the trouble.

@juanmah I tried clean reinstalling, all the .so files under /usr/lib/zotero are corrupted. I manually extracted the .tar.bz2 source and the elf .so look fine to me. There might be a corruption bug I am hitting with my filesystem (f2fs+zstd compression). I will investigate more.

@bezirg I cannot reproduce your error.

It's very unlikely the last update produced this error. Could you try to reinstall again, or downgrade in versions to see when this error appeared?

With the latest update I get:

XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/zotero/libnspr4.so:
/usr/lib/zotero/libnspr4.so: invalid ELF header
Couldn't load XPCOM.

Has anybody else run into this?

Please:

  • use https instead of http for url=
  • install the license since it have additional copyright info respect to the common one in the licenses package
  • don't need so add yourself as Contributor while you are already the maintainer
