You're right, nettle was upgraded. I'll try a reinstall...now, two hours for rebuilding...sigh :(

@PCZERO What packages were upgraded? How are you executing aseprite? What error messages do you see?

If nettle was upgraded, you'll need to rebuild aseprite against the newer nettle library (libnettle.so.7)

After upgrading manjaro today, aseprite does not work anymore... It doesn't open, as if was not installed.

@hollunder Try rebuilding(i.e. pacman -S aseprite-git) aseprite after upgrading nettle, fixed it for me

hollunder commented on 2019-07-10 15:50 (UTC)

No longer runs, as it depends on libnettle.so.6 but we have libnettle.so.7 now.

It doesn't build: /tmp/yaourt-tmp-xxx/aur-aseprite-git/src/aseprite/src/ft/stream.cpp:11:40: fatal error: freetype/internal/internal.h: No such file or directory #include <freetype/internal/internal.h> Event though that file can be found at src/aseprite/third_party/freetype2/include/freetype/internal/internal.h

Also still missing: makedepends: git depends: libx11, libwebp but even with that the package() function fails. ==> Starting package()...
