@akulikov: I think both problems are in Cinnamon. 1) If you do <Alt>+<F2>+"r" and then run "muffin --replace" in the terminal, you see that there's no problem anymore. If you run "cinnamon --replace", the problem comes back. I think this is an upstream bug. 2) I can't seem to reproduce this. Have you tried removing the menu from the panel and then adding it again?

@akulikov: Thanks! I've included the patch in the PKGBUILD (and actually test it this time :D).

I've updated muffin-git to use the rat4 branch and removed the stupid patch from this package :) Cinnamon (hopefully) should work again.

I got cinnamon working with: - muffin built from branch "mutter_3.4.0" in "rat4/muffin" github repository. - cinnamon without "0001-Manually-revert-commit-6cd6a4543b83fe9dddca8e827a538.patch" - this patch does silly things :( - and running glib-compile-schemas usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas after both muffin and cinnamon install I used manual install so I don't have PKGBUILSD and can't post them. P.S. some settings in cinnamon-settings don't work because muffin doesn't use dconf anymore.

Can't start Cinnamon: > JS ERROR: !!! message = '"this.setKeybindingHandler is not a function"' From https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/issues/674: > Current PKGBUILD for cinnamon-git is WRONG!! Don't use it!!! > The problem is muffin hasen't been ported to gnome 3.4 and > cinnamon was. PKGBUILD for cinnamon-git then patches cinnamon > to let it build with old muffin but the patch is just wrong.

BTW, here is the link to the utube I watched. It is made by an archlinux user, so it feels appropriate to watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-MpEc1jGhw&feature=related Cheers
