@shulamy & mininessie: Could you provide the build logs? I installed automake from testing and was able to compile Cinnamon.

shulamy commented on 2012-04-29 17:02 (UTC)

it start looking in 1.11 and the repo's is 1.12 can we do something about it, or wait for a fix?

mininessie commented on 2012-04-29 16:56 (UTC)

this does not work with automake higher than 1.9 needs fix when automake or make gets out of testing if its not already out of testing

@linfan: Thanks! I have changed cinnamon's dependency on 'muffin-git' to 'muffin-git>=20120429' to make sure that muffin is installed first.

akulikov: Please do not symlink the files. All you need to do is recompile muffin-git and then cinnamon-git.

Yay :-) Ty chenxiaolong. I built muffin-git and cinnamon-git with yaourt -S and there was no problems. No errors and it worked at first try.

Tks, chenxialong for the update. Cinnamon works again but there is a minor problem. If you run a yaourt full system update like I did cinnamon compilation fails (sorry, didn't catch the message) because cinnamon start compiling before muffin. I solved it starting update manually, first muffin then cinnamon.

Okay, I was able to fix the problem by recompiling muffin-git and then cinnamon-git. I have updated both :)

Rebuilding cinnamon didn't fix it for me.
