Hmmm...The gnome-shell update doesn't really update anything. It was a rebuild because of the update for libffi. Maybe recompiling cinnamon will fix the problem? I'll test it in a minute.

Well, seems I had to downgrade every single package from today, so now now pacman upgrades for unknown period. At least got cinnamon to work again. So if you want to have cinnamon, no more upgrades with pacman -Syu

Hahaaa... cat and rat race with cinnamon and gnome. Latest gnome updates again breaks everything. I will attempt to downgrade gnome-shell and put it in IgnorePkg and see if it fixes cinnamon.

Hey! unable to find the .install file, code checked out from git. can someone plz link. ==> ERROR: install file (cinnamon-git.install) does not exist.

I do not get those msgs, maybe because i run gnome. I hope you understand that you need gnome to run cinnamon? For me, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this package, it installs nice and works as promised. Maybe you should have a look at the cinnamon wiki?

The package has dependencies missing: gnome-panel gnome-settings-daemon accountsservice after installing these dependencies functions normally ;)

I installed it, but now I can not log me with Cinnamon, session failed to load, so I just can log me with the Gnome session
