@Ashark, Yes I tested with the last commit (ee1c578774e62fe4b08d92750620ed3094642160) and for me, it's OK with my current kernel (4.12.13-1-ARCH)

Anybody tried using devel branch? https://github.com/DisplayLink/evdi/issues/96

@PlusMinus Thank you for evdi-git workaround!

I can confirm that it won't compile, but I don't know why. For now, use the evdi-git package.

Getting the following line while trying to install this on an up-to-date system, 4.12.6-1-ARCH cc1: error: code model kernel does not support PIC mode

I get this with all versions of evdi that I have tried: Error! @Ashark yes I replaced the md5, and all was fine for me. What is your display link driver version ?

Ashark commented on 2017-08-12 19:34 (UTC)

@WhaX, thank you, but it is not working for me. Did you just replaced md5sum? I have no problem building package. Problem is while installing. I tried it with your pkgbuild without success.

@Ashark for 4.12.4-1-ARCH use https://pastebin.com/Fx7YeqTx :)

Anyone have success installing it with 4.12.4-1-ARCH kernel? Here is my output: Kernel preparation unnecessary for this kernel. Skipping... The same happens (bad exit status: 2) if downgrading linux and linux-headers to 4.12.3. Please help.
