for what is this unity-menubar.patch when there is no Unity in Arch?

Thaodan commented on 2017-06-16 19:12 (UTC)

there's already an issue about this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1362771

Thaodan commented on 2017-06-16 17:12 (UTC)

the problem only occures when compiling with -mtune=native.

I updated the pkg, the xpcshell issue is still there. Maybe it depends on buildsettings the arch pkg builds with gcc 7.1

tyler274 commented on 2017-06-07 00:34 (UTC)

makepkg always gets stuck on the precompile_startupcache step in the the install phase on GCC 7.1, is able to complete with gcc-5

Thanks buovjaga. I tried the one from Manjaro and it is working fine. I usually get firefox-kde-opensuse from archlinuxcn repo (PKGBUILDS at https://github.com/archlinuxcn/repo). They use this PKGBUILD for building. I do not know whether they build in a clean chroot.

Thaodan commented on 2017-05-27 17:47 (UTC)

Because they use a clean chroot for building. I got no similar problems you reporting. I use the latest kmozilla helper.

There are no crashing or other problems with the packages in Antergos or Manjaro repositories: https://build.antergos.com/package/firefox-kde ftp://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/manjaro/testing/community/x86_64/firefox-kde-53.0.3-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
