Instead of building this yourself, please use the repository from https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=117157.

Not only do you skip the very time-consuming builds, but the published package also has debug symbols at Mozilla's crash reports service, which helps tremendously with finding or filing bugs for any crashes you get.

I consider this the canonical firefox-nightly package for Arch Linux.

Alternatively, download Firefox Nightly straight from Mozilla, extract it to a writable place (e.g. ~/.local/firefox-nightly) and let it update itself using the integrated updater.

Hi! I don't know if it's the good place to post my message, but mine is a small question and I have already done a lot of fruitless researches. How can I uninstall firefox-nightly? I have installed firefox-developper-edition and, until proven otherwise, the former no longer serves me.

@ArchangeGabriel it appears he is having the same issue I am

==> Verifying source file signatures with gpg... 20171217-firefox-59.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2 ... FAILED (bad signature from public key BBBEBDBB24C6F355)

==> ERROR: One or more PGP signatures could not be verified!

as far as I can tell I have the Mozilla keys installed and they are up to date, haven't been having issues up until now with this package

@reference2myself: Please be more specific, what pgp error exactly?

reference2myself commented on 2017-12-12 13:20 (UTC)

still get pgp error after trying both "gpg --recv-key 0x61B7B526D98F0353" and "gpg --recv-keys --keyserver hkp://pgp.mit.edu BBBEBDBB24C6F355"

@fightcookie: Just retry in 1h. This is a CDN caching issue.

@daveburnt: No, AUR depends. base-devel group is assumed for installing any AUR package.

With a fresh install: binutils and fakeroot need to be installed first. Make dependencies?
