Because the game doesn't work with the libcurl version in the repos.

Why are you including libcurl in the tarball? This is available in the repos through curl. All the best,

@viper474 You need the tarball of the game gog_the_witcher_2_assassins_of_kings_1.0.0.4.tar.gz from GOG. It needs to be in the same directory as the files configurator gog-the-witcher-2-assassins-of-kings gog-the-witcher-2-configurator.desktop libcurl.so.4 and then from a terminal do makepkg -c

@fordprefect : eON is a wrapper layer, more or less like Wine. The Linux version of TW2 is not a "real" native binary.
