Minor suggestion: _commit_license can be removed by pointing it to the tag instead?

"license::${_url_source}/raw/blob/core%40${pkgver}/LICENSE"

I installed nodejs using nvm so pacman isn't able to resolve the dependencies, can't you just remove nodejs as a dependency?

That would break the PKGBUILD for anyone who's installed nodejs using pacman. Just download a snapshot above, and remove the dependency for yourself.

This package should be named insomnia-bin, since it is not build from source and installs pre-compiled binaries. The insomnia-src package should be renamed to insomnia.

Also, the PKGBUILD is missing a license field.

Sorry for the delay, I was on vacation. The package is now up to date.

Thanks for the workaround @telmo! Was driving me absolutely crazy.

Workaround for anyone driven crazy by the bugs in 2020.3.0, you can download the current release from GitHub (https://github.com/Kong/insomnia/releases/download/core%402020.3.3/Insomnia.Core-2020.3.3.tar.gz) and overwrite the files at /opt/Insomnia to get the new release.
