@Lukhas Make sure the v4l2loopback module is loaded (package builds, but doesn't load it), and try in X11. If it still doesn't work, I have no ideas. Unfortunately, proprietary binaries targeting LTS distros are expected to eventually stop working.

I have inconsistent behaviour with it. Initially it just starts with a blank white screen. I launched it in terminal and since it complained about lacking
qt5-wayland
, I installed it, restarted my PC and it worked. However ever since, no matter what dependencies I have installed or not, and no matter how often I reinstall, I'm just welcomed by a blank white screen.I'm unsure what causes that: launching it in terminal doesn't give any info, and neither does
dmesg
(I thought it couldn't hit v4l2, but no dice). Deleting config files in my home folder does nothing. Any troubleshooting steps anyone may be aware of?Oh yeah, and when it worked as a webcam, the ALSA audio option in the menu didn't seem to do anything. But then the Windows version doesn't even support audio, so I don't think I can get my hopes up on that front.

@ravens, workaround for my case
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libusbmuxd-2.0.so.7 /usr/lib/libusbmuxd-2.0.so.6

After recent update, the binary file in
/usr/bin/iriunwebcam
lost the executable permission.It was resolved by
sudo chmod +x /usr/bin/iriunwebcam

Hi everyone,
Iriun has been updated with a new patch version. By now you might know how to install it.
For anyone else, who can't wait for this package to be updated, change the version inside PKGBUILD file, from 2.8 to 2.8.1, and also the MD5 checksum, from '2189bd94c45cdf61ce51c2acd3357911' to 'cbc479a48bb1bf8be7f9408360020a28', then you can run 'makepkg -si'.
Hope everyone is healthy. Happy summer!
