instead?

Bluray menu support
What is the purpose of the java-runtime
optional dependency?
I cannot transcode any TrueHD tracks anymore to FLAC. Neither on Arch, nor on an Ubuntu VM, still works on Windows. See this forum thread: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=30735 I cannot be the only one? // Edit: Doesn’t work on Ubuntu 23.04 but works on 22.04, interesting… Any idea what package might cause this in Arch and newer Ubuntu? It probably isn’t ffmpeg 6 since ffmpeg isn’t even installed on my Ubuntu VM… Also just force downgraded to ffmpeg 5.1.2 on Arch, recompiled MakeMKV and got the same error.
if anyone does need the files it's available via archive.org.
last snapshot.

https://www.makemkv.com/ is operational again and 1.17.4 is listed on https://www.makemkv.com/download/
how are you getting to their site?
When I checked it was working
@FabioLolix, how are you getting to their site? It just doesn't resolve for me and I have checked against several dns servers, 8.8.8.8 being one of them. The site is gone and therefore this package no longer works.
0curl: (6) Could not resolve host: www.makemkv.com
Seems they have removed the 1.17.4 version, it is no longer listed on https://www.makemkv.com/download/ at the moment
To get the previous version:
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/makemkv.git
cd makemkv
git checkout 24c37eb89d7105083e789811e70bf97d259f639d
then build with makepkg or devtools
makemkv.com seems to be down. Is there an alternate location this can be pointed to? If not, then it's useless.

This now depends on
libavcodec.so
so when it needs to be rebuilded against newffmpeg
version you are forced to uninstall first otherwise the update will be blockedfosskers commented on 2023-06-11 13:56 (UTC)
I can confirm that a manual
sudo modprobe sg
was necessary to getmakepkg
to detect my DVD drive.FabioLolix commented on 2023-03-16 21:41 (UTC)
