@Bohdanator you need to install both packages at the same time with 'pacman -U'.

Needs to be updated to linux 3.2 for the extramodules dir in the PKGBUILD and nvidia.install files

@ProgDan: I see. Thanks for the info. I did not know that the "-dd" switch applied to any switches other than "-R".

@chenxiaolong: Sorry, but no. The versioned dependency are there for a reason: it forces you to have both packages in the same version. This is superior to comfortable use of AUR helpers. Use -dd switch to ignore the "broken" dependencies during update.

@ProgDan: Could you removed the versioned dependency on nvidia-utils-beta? It makes the AUR helpers, like packer and yaourt, unable to update the package. For example: - Yaourt finds an update for nvidia-beta - Yaourt finds an update for nvidia-utils-beta - It knows that nvidia-utils-beta needs to be upgraded first - It tries to install nvidia-utils-beta but fails because the previous version of nvidia-beta depends on the previous version of nvidia-utils-beta Thanks in advance!

Updated to 290.10 and moved to /lib/extramodules, as Alessandro suggested. Thanks.

I think you should considering to put this module on extramodules. On recent changes, the minor kernel update changes the modules folder, forcing us to rebuild the module on every update. Putting this modules on extramodules we only to rebuild this package on the major update.

I can confirm that flash 11 (flashplugin in extra) works fine with 290.06, though 11.2 (flashplugin-beta in AUR) does not. But who needs the beta when the stable one works? :-)
