missing octopi-notifier.install greetings

@ubuntuaddicted, I think you'll need to file a bug report upstream. They might be able to guide you through using a debugger to figure out where it's hanging.

my octopi is just freezing when trying to sync to database or even when I try to install packages. i'm not sure how to troubleshoot. it doesn't appear to log to pacman.log and if i launch octopi from the terminal there's no verbose output to tell me where it's getting hung up on.

@Matthew_Moore, I believe the way it is supposed to work is that the file /etc/dbus-1/system.d/org.octopi.pacmanhelper.conf tells D-BUS to start /usr/lib/octopi/pacmanhelper at boot. I'm not sure why they chose to start it that way instead of using systemd, but can you validate that pacmanhelper is running on your system?

I am having an issue with the Octopi-Notifier. It isn't automatically checking for updates anymore. I constantly have to right click and manually tell it to sync database to see if i have updates or not. It will not check on it's own anymore. :/ Not sure how to fix it.

Yep. I had an older version on my file server. I forgot that I had updated it on a workstation. Should be all good, now.

Hi, this version is the 0.3.1, but there is 0.4.2. Did you upload the wrong PKGBUILD when updating ?

@Weytsengtang, armv6h isn't a supported architecture for Arch. For Archarm users, the recommended solution is to use makepkg --ignorearch. If you use an AUR helper, you may want to check with them about supporting this option.

Weytsengtang commented on 2014-10-05 18:44 (UTC)

Can you add armv6h as arch? It compiles and starts without problems on Raspberry Pi.

Why has this been flagged out of date?
