The latest update 2018.618.0 broke fonts and icons when using mono, they recommended using dotnet to run osu which is even more broken. See more here https://github.com/ppy/osu/issues/2843

I created a package using the tagged release 2018.616.0 which is working again. I think you will have to wait until dotnet fully works again to use a later version

Hmm I tried to install and don't have much knowledge but I'm missing all text in game? Is there some specific font in use in linux?

After little investigating found out that game uses bitmap fonts so there is some problem with them and system. Not sure what. In game there is also some "icons" missing. On topbar there isn't game mode icons showing up right and in game reverse arrows also is missing.

The native libraries are renamed since upstream drop 32bit linux support. I have posted a patch below. Or you should add libbass (in aur) as a dependence.

For this error : System.DllNotFoundException: bass you need to install libbass from the aur.

Upon a sucessful installation of this package, I am met with a failing program. Is anyone also facing similar issues to this output?

Getting this error when I try to build from AUR

install: cannot stat 'libbass.x64.so': No such file or directory

Edit: Latest repo update seems to have fixed this.
